Craig Fink is a Principal Owner of Denali Companies, Inc. Fink is an original founder of Denali Companies, where his primary focus is on energy development and investments.
Fink has an extensive background in commercial, residential, and land development. He is the Managing Member and oversees the development activities of Baxter Town Center, a $100M, 100-acre lifestyle center, located in Baxter, MN.
Fink studied economics and finance at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of various trade associations and is active in several community business organizations. |

Curt Johnson

Curt Johnson is a Principal Owner of Denali Companies and its sister company, Denali Energy. Mr. Johnson has 24 years of commercial real estate development and brokerage experience. He has extensive executive and management experience in institutional financing and investments, acquisition and divesture strategies, commercial construction, build-to-suit developments, contract administration, marketing and leasing commercial real estate, and project management.
Mr. Johnson is currently leading new energy development projects, primarily in North Dakota.
Prior to joining Denali Companies, Johnson was an owner of a Twin Cities based commercial property development company. He attended both Minot State University in Minot, ND and St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud MN, studying business administration and management.
Mr. Johnson is a native of North Dakota.
Mr. Johnson is a member of the Board of Directors of ISD 186 in his hometown of Pequot Lakes, MN

Craig Swenson

Craig Swenson is a Principal with Denali Energy and a Commercial Agent with the Denali Companies real estate division. Craig has an extensive background in the financial services industry – including mortgage, investment and title work; and over ten years of professional experience in higher education involving recruitment, retention, information management and marketing at the Minnesota Universities.
In addition, Craig’s sales experience includes a background in the construction/rental industry, industrial chemicals industry, and food service industry. Craig earned a degree in Business Management and Psychology from Bemidji State University, and has completed graduate studies at Metro State University.

Kent Wentzel

Kent Wentzel is a Principal Owner and Chief Managing Officer of Denali Opportunities Partners, LLC., and has been an Entrepreneur for over 25 years.
After attending Bemidji State University, he became a sales professional and later General Manager of a chemical coatings manufacturer. In 1994, he joined AIG Retirement Services as a Retirement Planning Specialist. He worked extensively with individual investors in the 403(b) market, and later joined PrimeVest, a Minnesota based investment brokerage as a member of their IRA and 403(b) team.
Concurrently, Mr. Wentzel was involved with real estate investments and is a licensed commercial agent. He continues to own commercial and multi-tenant properties and is the developer on two retail centers in central Minnesota. He also has extensive management experience and owns a chain of service businesses, employing over 40 individuals.

Russel Gilson

Russ Gilson is a Principal of Denali Development and a shareholder in Denali Energy. He has over 35 years of experience in architectural business with much of that time spent working with commercial developers. Russ grew up in the Brainerd area and came back 11 years ago after spending 19 years with Shea Architects in Minneapolis. He is active in the community with Rotary, Camp Journey and MSAIA. Russ graduated from Brainerd High School and the University of Minnesota with a degree in architecture.
Russ was involved in the family construction business and has done many design-build projects. Today, Russ works on developing commercial and housing as stand-alone projects or in conjunction with energy projects.

Bob Burns

Bob is the Chief Financial Officer and Comptroller for the Denali family of companies. He brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience to the overall operation having spent over 30 years as a multi-franchised automobile dealer in northwest Iowa.
He is a graduate of the University of Iowa with degrees in marketing, advertising and accounting. He has also received certification in contract arbitration and reconciliation mediation.
Bob has always been active in his chosen industry and his community. He was selected by his peers to represent them on the county, state and national level, having served terms on both the Chevrolet and Buick National Dealer Councils. He was also selected to represent Chevrolet on the G.M.A.C. National Council where he was instrumental in helping to develop and implement the dealer floor plan assistance program that is in use industry-wide today.
He served 13 years on his local school board; was the inaugural co-chair of his county's first planning & zoning board; was an organizer and initial chairman of the first county-wide industrial development group in the State of Iowa and was selected as the Business Man of the Year by his local Chamber of Commerce.
Bob has been a member of the University of Iowa National "I-Club" Board of Directors for 26 years, serving as national president in 1998-99.
He is currently serving his second term on his local church council and has been chairman of his church finance committee for 9 years.
